Caring for Others

All Saints is about helping those in need:
  • Members of the church maintain a food pantry and clothes closet for those who are going through difficult times.
  • Members "glean" crops from farmers' fields and then distribute them to area food banks several times a year.
  • We host five blood drives each year.
  • Members give dozens of gifts to those who might otherwise have no Christmas.
  • We donate caps, gloves and scarves for the homeless.
  • Our quilting group makes 80 quilts each year to share with the underprivileged around the world.
  • We raise money with the CROP walk for world hunger.
  • We provide school supplies to refugee children.
  • Our ESL Conversation classes have helped over a hundred students seeking to learn English as a second language.
  • We provide personal hygiene items to a local women's shelter.
  • We raise money for and build at least one Habitat for Humanity home each year. In partnership with a group of other congregations, we built five homes in 2010.
In addition to these expressions of our faith, our members regularly volunteer at and donate to other worthy causes. To find out more about reaching out to others in Jesus' name, click here.
